Diminished Chords

The formula for diminished chords is 1, b3, and b5.  Like augmented chords,
diminished chords are symmetrical.  That is, the distance from each tone to
the next is the same in half steps, or frets.  Therefore, like augmented
chords, any note in a diminished chord can correctly identify or name the
chord.
